Love Your Exercise

Choose a workout you enjoy
It’s crucial to chose an exercise you like doing. Otherwise, you’ll find it drudgery and avoid it.
Be realistic
Plan out your exercise program realistically. Set yourself achievable goals otherwise you’ll be struggling to meet your target.
Get proper instructions
Take time to get proper instructions on different types of exercises and techniques so that you understand what you’re doing. Schedule an appointment with a personal trainer, or work out with an experienced training partner to reduce your chances of injury.
Reward yourself
Nothing motivates us better than immediate gratification. So, when you achieve a fitness target, treat yourself to a nice dinner or new clothes you’ve had your eye on.
The Right Exercise
Be consistent about exercise
It is better to choose to work out at the time of the day when you tend to feel most energetic. If you’re on a consistent workout schedule your body and mind adjust, so that you train most efficiently and with the least fatigue at that particular time of the day.
As you exercise overtime
You’ll start to appreciate your body it doesn’t take much time to see improvements in strength and endurance when you start exercising. As you feel your strength grow, you may get excited about your workouts... wondering how much you’ll lift next time or how fast you’ll walk or run. Your confidence levels will grow the more you work your body, the more your body can do. Following your exercise goals makes you trust yourself more. You become more confident.
You want to try out new things
I’ve seen my clients go through this and it always amazes me. Another very shy client ended up taking a belly dance class—something she would never have tried before she felt fit. You get more confident as you grow fit. Stay healthy, stay happy. You are inspired to change your life.
Your children will have a better chance at being healthy if you are active, you can be your kids’ role model and inspire them to stay fit and healthy. When you exercise with them, you get the bonus of spending quality time with them. Any new lifestyle change can be overwhelming at first; but the secret is to stay on track. Take it one day at a time, one healthy choice at a time. Sure enough, you’ll see the bright side of exercise.
